Rules & Regulations

To maintain discipline, decorum, and a productive learning environment, all students of Guru Nanak Khalsa Model High School are expected to follow the rules and regulations mentioned below:

General Conduct

  • Students must maintain discipline and show respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.

  • Any form of bullying, harassment, or misconduct will lead to strict disciplinary action.

  • Students must uphold the values of honesty, integrity, and responsibility within and outside the school premises.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Regular attendance is compulsory. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear for examinations.

  • Students must arrive at school before the morning bell and attend the morning assembly.

  • Latecomers may not be allowed to enter the class without valid reasons.

Uniform & Appearance

  • Students must wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and with pride on all school days.

  • Hair must be neatly groomed. Wearing of any accessories, makeup, or fancy hairstyles is not allowed.

Academics

  • Students are expected to complete and submit homework, assignments, and projects on time.

  • Cheating or unfair means during exams or classwork will result in disciplinary action.

  • Books, notebooks, and other required materials must be brought to school every day.

Use of School Property

  • Students must take care of school property. Any damage must be reported immediately.

  • Willful damage to school property will be fined and may lead to further action.

Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices

  • Mobile phones, cameras, or any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in school.

  • If brought, such items will be confiscated and returned only to parents.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Students must maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, and school grounds.

  • Littering is strictly prohibited. Use dustbins provided throughout the campus.

Leave & Absence

  • Leave of absence must be applied in writing and duly signed by parents/guardians.

  • In case of sickness for more than two days, a medical certificate is required.

Disciplinary Action

  • Any violation of school rules will result in warnings, suspension, or expulsion depending on severity.

  • The decision of the school management in all disciplinary matters shall be final and binding.
