To ensure smooth academic progress and discipline, students must adhere to the following leave policies:
Prior Permission:
Leave must be applied for in advance through a written application signed by parents/guardians.
In case of planned absence (family functions, travel, etc.), prior permission from the class teacher or principal is mandatory.
Medical Leave:
If a student is absent due to illness for more than two consecutive days, a medical certificate must be submitted upon return.
Parents should inform the school if the student is suffering from a contagious illness.
Short Leave During School Hours:
Students will not be allowed to leave the school during school hours without the presence of a parent or guardian.
A short leave will only be granted for genuine and urgent reasons.
Long-Term Leave:
For long absences due to unavoidable circumstances, parents must seek special permission from the Principal in writing.
Leave During Exams:
Leave during tests or examinations is strongly discouraged and allowed only for valid medical or emergency reasons with proper documentation.
Attendance Requirement:
A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible to appear in final examinations.
Repeated or unexplained absence may lead to disciplinary action or removal from the school rolls.
Unauthorized Leave:
Taking leave without informing the school will be considered unauthorized and marked as absent.
Three consecutive days of absence without information may result in the student’s name being struck off the attendance register.
